Inspire Your School Choir Workshop
At ASPA Ed we are passionate about providing high quality music education to enhance the skills of teachers to deliver vibrant and sustainable Performing Arts programs in their schools. During the ‘Inspire Your School Choir’ Workshop our experienced staff will share simple and effective tricks of the trade to enable you to reinvigorate or launch a vibrant school choir that students will want to join.
The workshop will run in two parts; the first section is a workshop with the students and the second section focuses on developing the skills of the teacher. See details below:

An Aussie Adventure
ASPA Ed’s exciting Australian-themed musical ‘An Aussie Adventure’ is the perfect way to bring the Performing Arts to your school. It’s written specifically for Australian primary schools, so both students and audiences enjoy the uniquely Australian references. It tells the story of two ambitious Partridge Birds visiting Australia for the first time. Thirteen scenes work around ten engaging songs that take the audience on an exciting adventure around the country, ending in your school’s hometown. Featuring classic Australian repertoire, ample roles for budding performers and many opportunities for the cast to be creative! Here’s how we can support your school to stage ‘An Aussie Adventure’:
- 10 weeks of rehearsals along with a full day dress rehearsal and evening concert
- Choreography and script tailored to student capabilities
- A resource pack for each class

Australia’s Christmas Spirit
As we enter the busy period of the year for many schools, it feels like Christmas is just around the corner! Take the pressure off in Term 4 and let ASPA Ed take the reins as we help you deliver a fun and festive Christmas Concert. Australia’s Christmas Spirit concerts are designed in consultation with each school and tailored to their needs. Bring in the Christmas season with a stress-free, joyous, musical celebration!
Our standard package includes:
- A massed opening song and finale plus a range of traditional Christmas Carols that can be performed by individual classes or year levels
- A script for the senior students so they can compere the show and choreography for selected songs
- A resource pack for each class – sheet music, word sheets, activities and rehearsal tracks
- Instructors to teach all of the content during in-school workshops over 3-5 weeks and manage the performance
