ASPA Education is excited to announce three exciting Professional Development Workshops with all new content in 2022 delivered in both MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY!
Are you an experienced performing arts educator looking for some fresh ideas in 2022? Or maybe you love the idea of providing more performing arts offerings at your school, but lack confidence? Then come and learn from our experienced staff who will share simple and effective tricks of the trade so that you can deliver engaging and sustainable performing arts programs in your school.
Teachers will leave each session with practical strategies that can be directly applied in their schools, in addition to digital resources that extend on activities learned during the session.
Start or Revive Your School Choir
Want to inspire your students to sing with glee? Our experienced staff will share simple and effective tricks of the trade to enable you to reinvigorate or launch a school choir that students will want to join. Each participant will receive a booklet with warm ups, activities, music and digital resources.

Performing Arts Content Booster
Are you looking to top-up or refresh your performing arts content for Semester 2? Let us re-stock your teacher tool-kit at this practical, hands on day where we will equip you with a wide range of brand new resources that will engage students of all ages and abilities. Each participant will receive a booklet with warm ups, activities, music and digital resources.

He has published many choral pieces and his works are performed regularly in Australia and overseas, often appearing in eisteddfodau and other choral competitions as set pieces or as recommended works. Mark conducts and tutors with the AGC, and has been a regular conducting tutor at ACCET (Australian Choral Conductors’ Education and Training) for the last 9 years, teaching conducting to choral directors from around Australia.

In addition to being a tutor for the Australian Girls Choir and ASPA Education for the past 10 years, Monique has also held teaching roles with a variety of organisations including The National Theatre and The Drama School. She has taught kindergarten music classes, performing arts and choral programs in primary and secondary schools as well as facilitating workshops within the aged care sector. Monique loves to share the joys of acting, singing and dancing with people of all ages.


Shelley is a sought-after choreographer and dance educator and in addition to her work with ASPA , she teaches regularly at Sydney Dance Company, is the Director of Programs and Training for REDed (Raw Energy Dance Education), teaches national and international workshops for the Royal Academy of Dance, and is the Founder and Director of DanceMoore Choreography.
On the competition circuit, Shelley’s solo and group routines have impressive success at major eisteddfods and regularly feature in the Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions. Shelley also delivers dance to regional and remote areas of Australia with the Girls from Oz program, working specifically with young Indigenous women and using the performing arts to connect, engage and empower. She is an invited adjudicator and Prize Sponsor of the Sydney Eisteddfod and guest teaches at several dance studios and training institutions around Sydney including The McDonald College, Ev & Bow and Algeria Full Time courses.
