Start or Revive Your School Choir
With the support of the Musical Bridge Foundation, ASPA is delighted to be providing this fully funded professional development opportunity for primary classroom and primary specialist music teachers. ASPA Education has 40 years of experience delivering exceptional performing arts education and training in a variety of settings.
Want to inspire your students to sing with glee? Our experienced staff will share simple and effective tricks of the trade to enable you to reinvigorate or launch a vibrant school choir that students will want to join.
Content:
- Structuring warm ups for healthy singing, promoting team dynamics and developing focus
- Selecting appropriate repertoire and sourcing materials
- Conducting tips and leading groups in rehearsal
- Introducing and developing part singing and harmony work
- Learning two contrasting songs, including teaching ideas
- Singing for Pleasure
- Connecting and networking with other passionate teachers
Resources: Each participant will receive a booklet with warm ups, activities, music resources.
