With the weather getting colder outside, the team at ASPA Ed and REDed are keeping warm and energised by singing and dancing our way through the day! We also know that this is the perfect time of year to be planning towards the end of year festive season, so we’d love to share the fun games, songs and routines that can bring cheer to you and your school when the year wraps up!

We offer digital resources that you can download and teach yourself, all the way up to delivering entire concerts, where our team can teach the content and provide tailored support every step of the way. Raw Energy Dance Education

REDed are here to reinvigorate your students through the joy of movement with dance routines and incursions with a touch of holiday magic! Whether it’s a fun one off incursion you’re after, a performance item for an end of term Concert or whole school assembly, REDed has a routine for everyone! Dive into a festive dance disco or a spirited school dance day with our clearly scaffolded, easy to remember routines that bring a hip-hop flair to some classic Christmas carols.

• REDed Christmas Workshop – REDed Incursion PLUS digital resourcesBring a REDed Instructor to your school to facilitate a high energy, creative incursion to teach all four of our Christmas routines to students, with plenty of interactive and imaginative games along the way! • Christmas Disco Fever! – REDed IncursionBring your class or the entire school (no group is too big or too small!) to join us for a groovy Christmas Disco party! With all four of our routines included, and a number of festive dance games woven into the session, it’s an hour of joy and delight you’ll never forget.

ASPA Education

While the team REDed have got your dance routines covered, at ASPA Education we are here to combine the joy of movement with song and drama, to create memorable performances and showcases that are not just beautiful to watch, but also hassle free to stage. We have two different shows that are bound to bring some Christmas magic to your school:

The Elves Who Saved Christmas tells the story of a group of clever and dedicated elves who spring into action when Santa mysteriously vanishes just before Christmas. To keep the spirit of Christmas alive, they must go undercover to ensure every child receives a gift, becoming holiday heroes and spreading cheer in unexpected ways along their adventurous journey. Through this magical mission, students build foundational performance skills that inspire confidence, so that they can flourish musically and socially with content that is age appropriate, educational and engaging.

Australia’s Christmas Spirit is a concert that combines some classic Christmas Carol favourites with a medley of songs from the children’s musical ‘Wise Guys and Starry Skies’ to create a familiar and lively showcase of the spirit of the holiday season. With massed opening and finale numbers, as well as a selection of songs that can be performed by individual classes and year levels, it’s the perfect way to ignite some joy in your students and school community as the holidays approach.

Whatever Christmas adventure you wish to take, we provide all the content and resources to make it a truly captivating and stress free production, including:

• Scripts, sheet music, word sheets, thematic activities, and rehearsal tracks
• Choreography for selected songs
• Assistance with rehearsal and performance scheduling
• An ASPA Ed Instructor to teach all of the music and movement during rehearsals
• An APSA Ed instructor to stage manage the performance
