In the blink of an eye it seems, we’ve closed the curtain on the fabulous year that was 2025, filled with an incredible array of performing arts programs, opportunities and milestones for the team at ASPA Education and REDed. We’re proud to partner with schools across Australia to bring vibrant dance and performing arts programs to life. While we’re thrilled to be looking forward now to all the fun in store for 2026, we’re taking a moment to look back at all of our favourite moments from 2025!
Read on and reflect with us, plus discover how the ASPA Education and REDed programs could fit within your school performing arts offerings.
ASPA Education
At ASPA Education, we hit the ground running with a super successful run of our hit holiday program Summer Showtime across 5 Australian capital cities. Seussical KIDS and Finding Nemo KIDS wowed audiences and helped participants build some incredible skills and friendships to treasure well beyond the concluding performance. Our sights turned quickly from students to teachers, as we launched our Teacher Professional Development Workshops for the year, beginning with a record number of attendees for our first PD of the year. Across 2025, we were delighted to connect and collaborate with so many wonderful educators and music specialists at these PDs, and can’t wait to begin our new round of workshops in 2026 with familiar and brand new faces!

Throughout the school term, our instructors travelled across the country to run a number of workshops and bespoke programs promoting performing arts engagement with students in either drama, dance, singing, or a combination of these disciplines. We taught new songs, brought new shows to life, and spent lots of time laughing and making memories on and off the stage! Some of our programs this year even saw us staging entire school concerts, which meant we got to work with school communities to put together some truly memorable performances. We were just amazed at the talent and enthusiasm of everyone who gave it their all with the team at ASPA Education.
And the fun didn’t stop when school did, because we got to run our jam-packed mid-year holiday program, Take The Stage, in July and October! We base this program around a central theme, and participants used dance, drama, singing and theatre skills sessions to explore and create with their peers, all the while expressing themselves, building confidence and a sense of belonging.

Raw Energy Dance Education
In the world of REDed, we barely took a moment to catch a breath as we danced our way through a busy year! We rolled out our updated Curricular Programs for schools, which saw hundreds of students across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne engage in programs that supported achievement of (PD)HPE and Creative Arts dance outcomes. Our program offerings for schools are so much more than just high energy, fun dance experiences. They are hands-on lessons that meet curriculum requirements and support assessment goals. Across this program, our overarching First Nation Lens has also provided students with opportunities to explore and share through movement-based storytelling within a guided framework.
Our dancers across extra-curricular programs also had a blast this year performing across multiple eisteddfods throughout the year, and we were delighted to welcome some new schools to our Extra Curricular family. We loved taking the stage at the Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod, Extreme Dance Eisteddfod, Ryde Eisteddfod, The Ultimate Dance Challenge, Sydney Eisteddfod and many more! We are so proud of every REDed Rockstar who gave it their all on the stage.
And how can we forget the launch of our first ever Holiday Program, Everybody Dance Now! Packed with dances, drama, craft and a whole lot of fun, we spent two unforgettable days building the skills and confidence of dancers with all levels of experience, across a number of different styles from hip-hop to music theatre. Ending the program with a spectacular Showcase Concert was a beautiful way for families to watch their young performers take the stage and celebrate each child’s progress and achievements.

‘The Eds’ in 2025
This year, as sister performing arts organisations, both ASPA Ed and REDed have placed a strong emphasis on the education factor linking us, working collaboratively to deliver meaningful outcomes for both teachers and students. By combining our expertise, we’ve expanded the variety and number of performing arts programs available in schools, with a dual focus on creative arts, health and wellbeing. We’ve nurtured and strengthened collaborative relationships with teachers, growing both our existing partnerships and forging many new ones. Our ‘Classroom Mastery’ approach has been instrumental in engaging students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that every learner is included and supported. Additionally, we’ve created a wealth of long-form resources available on our latest news page on our websites, which covers everything from managing a performing arts class and integrating key skills into the curriculum, to providing expert advice on staging a school concert and sharing tips and tricks for budding performing artists.
We’re so proud of how much we’ve grown in 2025, committed to providing a well-rounded and informed approach to performing arts education. Looking ahead to 2026, we couldn’t be more excited to bring the joy of performing arts to more schools, teachers, and students across Australia.
