Artistic Director
Holding degrees in Music Performance and Music Education, Vicki has trained in the areas of improvisation, jazz, opera, musicology, ethnomusicology and arranging. Her diverse experience has kept her in demand as a singer, teacher, workshop leader and conductor and she has worked in a number of school, tertiary and community settings. She has taught with the Australian Girls Choir since 1994, and has been the Artistic Director of the Australian School of Performing Arts since 2008. Vicki was a founding member of the internationally awarded a cappella ensemble Akasa and believes that the expressive power of the performing arts can be used as a tool for social change, empowerment and the building of community.
