Nicole is a visionary leader, excellent communicator and mentor by nature to the national team at ASPA. With a varied background in arts management and education alongside her passion for feminism, Nicole has built a career empowering others, particularly women and girls, through the performing arts. Nicole combines collaboration with intuition when making key business decisions, and encourages this approach in every facet of the business. Nicole’s love of learning and ability to think beyond the everyday to a reimagined reality has seen the organisation grow from strength to strength, with the future always at the forefront of her work as CEO. She loves leading this vibrant organisation and is particularly proud of the passion, talent and dedication that is consistently displayed by the national staff team. Nicole is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
With a deep care for First Nations peoples, Nicole was also instrumental in the development and growth of ASPA’s charity partner, Girls from Oz, and currently sits as Chair of the organisation. In 2018, Nicole was awarded an Order of Australia for her service to the performing arts, specifically for young women and girls and those living in remote regions.
