In November this year, twenty-four girls from Carnarvon, Halls Creek and Lockhart River travelled to Melbourne to participate in the Girls from Oz Travel Program. This week-long program is a highlight and a key component of the ongoing programs that g-oz runs in each of the three locations, and offers the opportunity for the most engaged participants in each program to be selected to travel to a major metropolitan city. Congratulations to our official charity partner, Girls from Oz, who are celebrating the start of NAIDOC week by announcing the amazing result of their recent Giving Circles campaign – more than $59,000 was raised in three months! ‘Stage Door’ performing arts camp brings students together to learn and create

From June 18 to 20, ASPA Education in conjunction with the Catholic Education Office Sandhurst delivered Stage Door – a residential performing arts workshop for Year 9 and 10 students. Over three days, 33 students from 8 schools who had expressed an interest in the performing arts were mentored by CEOS staff and ASPA Education instructors.
